Urban Green Space and Recreational Park pinasinayaan ng MMDA at Muntinlupa LGU

Pormal na pinasinayaan ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ang Urban Green Space and Recreational Park na matatagpuan sa Bayanan Baywalk, Muntinlupa City bilang parte ng Adopt-A-Park project ng ahensya.

Pinangunahan nina MMDA Acting Chairman Engr. Carlo Dimayuga III at Muntinlupa City Mayor Rozzano Rufino Biazon ang inagurasyon at blessing ng naturang parke.

“It is always a good day when we inaugurate projects like this because it is a testament of the significance of the productive collaboration between local government units and national agencies,” sabi ni Dimayuga.

Ayon kay Biazon, ang parke ay bahagi ng 7K Agenda ng kaniyang administrasyon.

Ang 7K Agenda ay binubuo ng Kabuhayan (livelihood), Kalusugan (health), Karunungan (knowledge or education), Kaunlaran (progress), Kapayapaan/Kaayusan (peace and order), Katarungan (justice), at Kalikasan (environment).

“We have a shared responsibility to maintain the cleanliness of the park. I urge the Muntinlupa City government as well as the officials of Barangay Bayanan to perform and discharge their duties accordingly for the benefit of our constituents,” pahayag ni Biazon.

Itinurn-over sa lokal na pamahalaan ang Urban Green Space and Recreational Park sa Bayanan Baywalk, na mayroong bagong grass, bollard lights, benches, ramps for persons with disabilities (PWDs), exercise area, at colorful play area para sa mga bata.

Sa ilalim ng Adopt-A-Park project, na sinimulan noong nakaraang taon at sa orihinal na ideya ni dating MMDA Chairman at ngayo’y Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos, Jr., ang LGU ay magmumungkahi ng lokasyon,disenyo at tinatayang gastos habang magtatakda naman ang MMDA ng kriterya para sa pagpili ng lugar, magkakaloob ng pondo at magpapatupad ng konstruksiyon ng proyekto.
