Travel authority, medical certificate hindi na kailangan sa pagbiyahe – DILG

Kinumpirma ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) na hindi na kailangan ng Travel Authority mula sa PNP at medical certificate para makabiyahe.

Ito ay makaraang mas pagaanin pa ng Inter Agency Task Force ang pinaiiral na national travel protocols via land, air, at sea.

Ayon kay DILG Undersecretary at Spokesperson Jonathan Malaya sa ilalim ng Resolution No. 101 ng IATF, inaprubahan ang streamlined travel protocols na inilatag ng DILG.

Ito ay matapos ang koordinasyon sa PNP, Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines, League of Provinces of the Philippines, League of Municipalities of the Philippines, at League of Cities of the Philippines.

Aplikable ang bagong protocols sa lahat ng LGUs sa bansa.

Ayon pa sa DILG, hindi na din mandatory ang COVID-19 testing para sa domestic travelers maliban na lamang kung ang LGU of destination ay nire-require pa din ito.

“If the LGU of destination requires a test, it shall only require a Reverse-Transcription – Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test and no other. Meaning, LGUs cannot require Antigen tests or rapid tests as test requirements prior to travel,” ayon kay Malaya.
