Task force Philhealth binuo ng NBI
Inanunsyo ng National Bureau of Investigation o NBI ang pagbuo ng isang TASK FORCE-PHILHEALTH na tututok sa pagsisiyasat sa mga anomalya sa Philhealth.
Ayon kay NBI OIC Director Eric Distor, ang pagbuo ng task force ay alinsunod sa direktiba ni Justice Sec. Menardo Guevarra.
Sinabi ni Distor na nag-isyu na siya ng Memorandum Order para sa pagtagtag ng TASK FORCE-PHILHEALTH. Layon nito na mapabilis ang imbestigasyon laban sa Philhealth.
Ayon pa kay Distor, kabilang sa mga gagawin sa imbestigasyon ng task force ay pag-audit sa Philhealth finances at pagsasagawa ng lifestyle checks sa mga opisyal at kawani nito.
Ang TASK FORCE PHILHEALTH ay bubuuin ng mga ahente at imbestigador mula sa NBI Anti-Graft Division, Anti-Fraud Division, Special Action Unit, Computer Crimes Division, Special Operations Group, at Digital Forensic Laboratory.
Ang task force ay pamumunuan naman ni NBI-NCR Regional Director Cesar Bacani, sa ilalim ng superbisyon ni Deputy Director for Regional Operations Service Antonio Pagatpat at aasistehan ni Deputy Director for Investigation Service Vicente De Guzman III.
Dagdag ni Distor, ang TASK FORCE-PHILHEALTH ay makikipag-ugnayan sa DOJ para sa progress o itinatakbo ng pagsisiyasat.
Matatandaan na noong nakalipas na taon, nauna nang inimbestigahan ng NBI ang isyu ng ghost dialysis fees kung saan dawit din ang Philhealth at ang WellMed Dialysis and Laboratory Center Corporation.
