Libu-libong pasahero stranded sa mga pantalan dahil sa bagyong Auring

Umabot na sa 4,565 na mga pasahero, driver at mga cargo helpers ang stranded ngayon sa iba’t ibang pantalan sa bansa na naapektuhan ng Bagyong Auring.

Maliban dito, mayroon ding 78 vessels; 9 na motorbancas; at 1,878 rolling cargoes ang hindi makabiyahe sa Northern Mindanao, North Eastern Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Bicol at Southern Tagalog regions.

Sa pinakahuling Maritime Safety Advisory ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) alas 4:00 ng madaling araw ngayong Lunes, February 22, mayroong 142 vessels at 96 na motorbanca ang nakahimpil.

Ang PCG Command Center ay 24/7 na nakabantay upang matiyak ang mahigpit na implementasyon sa pagbabawal ng pagbiyahe ng mga sasakyang pandagat habang masungit ang panahon.
