BBM, inendorso ng PDP-LABAN bilang Presidential Bet

Nakuha ni presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang endorsement ng PDP-Laban wing na nasa ilalim ni Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi, ang paksyon na sinusuportahan ni Pangulong President Rodrigo Duterte.

Nakasaad sa resolusyon na si Marcos ang kandidato na may plataporma na pinakamalapit sa development program ni Pangulong Duterte.

“(Marcos) is the candidate whose vision of governance is most aligned with PDP Laban’s 11-point agenda,” the Cusi-led party added. The group also noted it had previously endorsed Marcos’ running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, as its official vice presidential candidate.

“Whereas, to promote “Unity for Sustainability” of socio-economic development and national progress… Resolved, as it is hereby resolved, after careful and exhaustive deliberations the National Executive Committee endorses the candidacy of Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. for President of the Republic of the Philippines in the forthcoming 2022 National Elections,” saad sa resolusyon.

Nakalagda sa resolusyon sina Cusi, PDP-Laban Secretary General Melvin Matibag, Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go, at labing isa pang opisyal ng partido.

Pinasalamatan naman ng kampo ni Marcos ang PDP-Laban sa pagsuporta sa kanyang presidential bid para sa nalalapit na halalan.

“We are glad the PDP-Laban has joined the bandwagon of support for the BBM-Sara UniTeam of major political parties in the country. It is truly reassuring, but at the same time challenging us to be even more prepared and vigilant in light of growing rumors of possible poll fraud in the coming elections,” sabi ni Atty. Vic Rodriguez, tagapagsalita ni Marcos.
