Off-site modular hemodialysis facility magagamit na

Binuksan na ang off-site modular hemodialysis facility sa National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI).

Ang naturang pasilidad ay itinayo ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) para magamit ng mga pasyente ng COVID-19 na nangangailangan din ng dialysis.

Ayon kay Public Works Sec. Mark Villar naisakatuparan ang proyekto sa pamamagitan ng binuong Task Force for Augmentation of Local/National Health Facilities at ng NKTI Management.

Maliban kay Villar, dumalo sa aktibidad sina Health Secretary Francisco T. Duque III, Health Undersecretary and Treatment Czar Leopoldo J. Vega, at NKTI Executive Director Dr. Rose Marie O. Rosete-Liquete.

Present din sa seremonya sina IATF Chief Implementer at Vaccine Czar Secretary Carlito G. Galvez Jr., COVID-19 National Task Force Deputy Chief Implementer and Testing Czar Secretary Vince B. Dizon, Presidential Spokesperson Secretary Harry Roque, at Quezon City Mayor Joy G. Belmonte.

Ang off-site hemodialysis facility ay mayroong 20 dialysis rooms para sa mga COVID-19 patients na mayroong kidney illness.

Kabilang sa mga kwartong ito ang 14 na regular dialysis rooms, 2 isolation rooms, at 4 na hepatitis rooms.

Kaya nitong tumanggap ng 60 dialysis patients kada araw.

Ang hospital facility ay mayroong airconditioning equipment, CCTV monitoring and paging system, nurse station, water treatment room, at generator set.

Naiturn-over din ng DPWH sa NKTI ang modular dormitory na mayroong 16 fully airconditioned rooms na maaring magamit ng hanggang 32 frontlinets.

Ang dormitory ay mayroong toilet and bath na may water heater sa bawat kwarto, maluwag na airconditioned hallway, living area, dining area, kitchen at laundry areas para sa mga health workers ng NKTI.
