HVI arestado sa Muntinlupa buy-bust; shabu, baril, at granada nakumpiska

Naaresto ng mga tauhan ng Muntinlupa City Police Station ang isang High-Value Individual (HVI) at nakumpiska ang hinihinalang shabu, baril, at granada sa isinagawang maigting na kampanya kontra ilegal na droga sa lungsod.

Kinilala ni Col. Robert C. Domingo, Chief of Police, ng Muntinlupa CPS, ang naarestong suspek na si alyas “Chong”, 56-anyos, residente ng Barangay Tunasan.

Dakong alas-6:20 ng gabi isinagawa ng mga operatiba ng Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) ang buy-bust operation sa naturang barangay na nagresulta ng pagkaaresto ng suspek at narekober 51.85 na gramo ng umano’y shabu na nagkakahalaga ng ₱352,580.00; caliber .38 revolver na kargado ng apat na bala; MK2 fragmentation hand grenade; sling bag; at buy-bust money.

Inihahanda ng otoridad ang pagsasampa ng kasong paglabag sa Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), Republic Act No. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act), at Republic Act No. 9516 for illegal possession of explosives laban sa suspek.

Nasa kustodiya ng SDEU ang suspek at patuloy na iniimbestigahan.
