5 katao timbog sa P3.4M na halaga ng shabu sa Taguig
Napasakamay ng mga operatiba ng District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) ng Southern Police District ang limang high-value individuals (HVIs) at nakumpiska ang tinatayang 500 na gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na nagkakahalaga ng P3,400,000.00 sa gitna ng buy-bust operation na isinagawa sa Colorado Street, Barangay Napindan, Taguig City.
Pinangunahan ni Maj. Cecilio Tomas Jr. ang DDEU sa kolaborasyon ng District Intelligence Division (DID-SPD) at Sub-Station 5 ng Taguig City Police Station ang operasyon na nagresulta ng pagkaaresto ng primary target, na si alyas Jam, nakalist bilang HVI-pusher at kilalang distributor na kumikilos sa katimugang Metro Manila kasama ang apat pang suspek na sina George, Bailyn, Noorulhoda, at Monera, pawang bagong natukoy na HVIs.
Bukod sa umano’y ilegal na droga nakumpiska rin ng otoridad ang marked buy-bust money, brown envelope, realme android phone, at shoulder bag.
Nasa kustodiya ng DDEU-SPD ang limang suspek habang inihahanda ng otoridad ang pagsasampa ng kasong paglabag sa R.A. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 laban sa.mga salarin.
