HVI timbog sa ₱756K na halaga ng ‘shabu’ sa Taguig buy-bust

Sa pagtugon sa balidong intelihensiya at koordinasyon sa Philippppine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) naaresto ng Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) ng Taguig City Police Station ang isang babaeng High-Value Individual (HVI) at nakumpiska ang umano’y shabu na nagkakahalaga ng ₱756,160.00 sa isinagawang buy-bust operation sa Barangay Lower Bicutan sa nasabing lungsod.

Ang naarestong suspek ay kinilalang si “Arlen”, 49-anyos, at residente sa Purok 5, Brgy. Lower Bicutan, Taguig City dakong alas- 11:40 ng umaga.

Sa gitna ng operasyon narekober ang tinatayang 111.2 na gramo ng umano’y shabu, buy-bust money, at eco bag.

Nakatakdang itinurn-over ang mga ebidensiya sa SPD Forensic Unit upang suriin.

Inihahanda ng otoridad ang pagsasampa ng kasong paglabag sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 laban sa suspek sa Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office.

Pinuri ni BGen Randy Y. Arceo, Acting District Director ng SPD ang mabilis at Taguig CPS sa matagumpay na pag-aresto sa suspek.

“This successful operation is a clear demonstration of our firm stance against illegal drugs. The arrest of a High-Value Individual and the seizure of a substantial amount of shabu is not just a win for law enforcement, it is a warning to all who continue to defy the law. I commend the Taguig City Police Station for their prompt and deliberate action that reinforces our mission to dismantle drug operations at every level,” sabi ng SPD chief.

Mariing binalaan ni BGen Arceo ang mga sangkot sa bentahan o pagpapalaganap ng ilegal na droga.
