High-value drug suspect nadakip ng Taguig Police; P500K na halaga ng shabu nakumpiska

Nadakip ng mga operatiba ng Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) ng Taguig City Police Station ang isang bagong natukoy na High-Value Individual (HVI) at nakumpiska ang umano’y shabu na nagkakahalaga ng P505,920.00, sa gitna ng isinagawang buy-bust operation sa Sheridan Street, Barangay Rizal sa lungsod madaling araw ng Miyerkules, June 4.

Kinilala ni Col Rodel A. Pastor, Officer-in-Charge ng Taguig CPS ang naarestong suspek na si alyas “Rodel”, 39-anyos, condo housekeeper, at residente sa naturang barangay.

Sa kasagsagan ng operasyon, nakumpiska ng otoridad ang tinatayang 74.4 na gramo ng hinihinalang shabu ,marked money, coin purse, driver’s license, Honda Click 125 motorcycle, at helmet na agad tinurn-over sa Southern Police District (SPD) Forensic Unit para sa laboratory examination.

Pinuri naman ni SPD Acting District Director BGen Joseph R. Arguelles ang Taguig Police sa matagumpay na operasyon na nagresulta nang pagkaaresto ng suspek.

“This accomplishment demonstrates the professionalism and commitment of our personnel in addressing the problem of illegal drugs in our communities. I commend the efforts of the Taguig police operatives for this well-executed operation. To those involved in illegal drug activities — this is a strong message that your actions will not go unpunished,” pahayag ni BGen Arguelles.

Nasa kustodiya ng pulisya ang suspek at inihahanda ng otoridad ang pagsasampa ng kasong paglabag sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 laban dito. (Bhelle Gamboa)
