Pamahalaan handang tugunan ang pangangailangan ng mga naapektuhan ng pagputok ng Mt. Kanlaon
Tiniyak ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na nakahanda ang pamahalaan na tugunan ang pangangailangan ng libu-libong residente na apektado ng pagputok ng Bulkang Kanlaon.
Sa ambush interview sa Pulilan, Bulacan sa inagurasyon ng NLEX Candaba 3rd viaduct, sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos na nakahanda na rin ang Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
Nagtungo na rin aniya sa Negros si Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchian para personal na alamin ang kalagayan ng mga apektadong residente.
Namahagi na rin aniya ng food packs ang DSWD.
“We do, I was with , first of all i got the report from Sec. Rex Gatchalian who already landed in Negros early this morning, DBM has already assured me that they are ready. So yes, we are ready to support the families, who have been evacuated outside the 6km danger zone. So, talagang pumutok na,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
“So now, DENR, DOST are continuing to monitor air quality to see if we need to do more in terms of evacuating. Kung maging dangerous na ang levels ng toxic gases na lumalabas sa bulkan. So, yes, we’re ready we know what to do and we alreayd started to send food packs, and all the things that we bring to those who are in evacuation centers,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Ayon sa Office of Civil Defense, nasa 87,000 na residente ang ililikas dahil sa pagputok ng bulkan. (CY)
