“As such, I would like to congratulate the dedicated and hardworking staff of the Fair Trade Group (FTG), Fair Trade Enforcement Bureau (FTEB), and the Product Standards Monitoring and Enforcement Division (PSMED), respectively headed by Assistant Secretary Agaton Teodoro Uvero, Director Fhillip Sawali, and Chief Ryan Ray Baluyot,” sabi ni DTI Secretary Fred Pascual.

“One might assume that once our enforcers have made their rounds in an area, that they will move on to the next. While it is true that the goal is to conduct a massive nationwide sweep in all regions, make no mistake about it: where the violators are, that is where the DTI will be. Retailers and businesses that do not comply with regulatory and safety standards for products are effectively warned. They must deal only with suppliers of legitimate products,” ayon pa sa kalihim.

“Consumer vigilance will always be complementary to DTI’s commitment to eliminate substandard and unregulated products from the market, pagtatapos ni Sec. Pascual. (Bhelle Gamboa)
