Joint Passing Exercise ng PCG at US Coast Guard, natapos na

Natapos na ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) at United States Coast Guard (USCG) ang Joint Passing Exercise (PASSEX) na idinaos sa Lubang Island sa Occidental Mindoro.

Lumahok sa pagsasanay ang BRP Melchora Aquino (MRRV 9702) ng PCG at ang Cutter Waesche (WMSL-751) ng USCG.

Layunin ng pagsasanay na mas palakasin pa ang maritime cooperation at interoperability ng Coast Guard services ng dalawang bansa sa usapin ng maritime safety at environmental protection.

Sumentro ang PASSEX exercise sa Search and Rescue (SAR), firefighting, communication exercises (COMEX), at medical evacuation (MEDEVAC). (DDC)
