Mobile Command Centers ipakakalat sa mga field office ng DSWD

Pasisinayaan ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ang bago nitong disaster response station hub na Mobile Command Center (MCC).

Kabuuang labingapat na MCCs ang ipiprisinta sa gagawing inagurasyon sa DSWD Central Office sa Quezon City.

Ang mga MCC ay mayroong state-of-the art information and communications technology (ICT) equipment na magagamit sa mga disaster o emergency operations.

Ito ang gagamitin bilang komunnikasyon sa pagitan ng Regional Operations Center (ROC), Disaster Response Command Center (DRCC), o Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (RDRRMC).

Ayon kay DSWD Asst. Secretary for Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG) Irene Dumlao sa pamamagitan ng mga MCC masisiguro ang patuloy, epektibo, reliable, at timely emergency telecommunications support ma kailangan para sa disaster response operations.

Ang bawat MCC ay magkakaroon ng deployment team na kabibilangan ng isang team leader dalawang DSWD- Government Emergency Telecommunications Team (GETT) members na bihasa sa ICT management, networking, electronics, at communications; at tatlong Quick Response Team (QRT) members.
