Inter-Agency Committee for Right-of Way binuo para mapabilis ang railway projects sa bansa

Pabibilisin ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang implementasyon ng lahat ng railways projects sa Pilipinas.

Kaya naman lumikha ang pangulo ng isang Inter-Agency Committee for Right-of Way (ROW) Activities para sa National Railway Projects.

Nakasaad sa Administrative Order No. 19 na ang Inter-Agency Committee ang mag-aaral at gagawa ng episyenteng mekanismo para mapadali ang proseso ng land acquisition o pagbili ng mga lupa na kinakailangan para sa railway projects.

Batay sa kautusan, kabilang sa kapangyarihan at mga tungkulin ng komite ang pag-coordinate ng mga polisiya at proyekto, pagbuo ng mga polisiya at programa, at pagtukoy ng angkop na mga serbisyo at programang may kaugnayan sa pand acquisition gaya ng livelihood, income restoration at resettlement.

“The Inter-Agency Committee for ROW Activities for National Railway Projects (Committee) is hereby created to study and devise an efficient and collaborative mechanism to streamline the process of land acquisition necessary for the implementation of all railway projects,” saad ng AO na may petsang March 25.

Tutukuyin rin nito ang kasalukuyang mga polisiya, kasunduan, kontrata at iba pang arrangements na epektibo sa implementasyon ng mga proyektong riles.

Magsisilbing chairperson ng inter-agency committee ang kalihim ng Department of Transportation katuwang ang kalihim ng Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development.

Magsisilbing miyembro naman ang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG); Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD); Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR; Department of Finance (DOF); Department of Budget and Management (DBM); Department of Justice (DOJ); at Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) habang tatayong secretariat ang Philippine National Railway.
