Bagong Finance Sec. Ralph Recto nanumpa na sa pwesto
Nanumpa na kay Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. si dating Senador Ralph Recto bilang bagong kalihim ng Department of Finance kapalit ni Secretary Benjamin Diokno.
Kasama ni Recto na nagtungo sa Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang maay bahay na si star for all season Vilma Santos.
Bukod kay Recto, nanumpa rin kay Pangulong Marcos si Frederick Go bilang Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs.
“Even a perfunctory research will immediately show that Secretary Go and Secretary Recto are distinguished leaders whose expertise, vision, and dedication will undoubtedly contribute to the prosperity of our country,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Ayon kay Pangulong Marcos, hindi matatawaran ang galing ni Recto sa public service.
” He will be a major player in how we stay on the path of growth, meet and even surpass our medium-term fiscal target, and achieve our developmental targets. He will promote not just ease in paying taxes but also in efficiently and effectively spending those collections. Because a citizen’s reward for tax compliance should be better and more responsive public services. He will continue to help devise strategies that will tame inflation through a bastion of responses ranging from plugging supply gaps to injecting nonmonetary measures so that prices will be stable, ” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Tiyak aniyang magpapatupad ng mga reporma si Recto.
“I am certain that he will be championing reforms, leverage his influence in both Houses of Congress into passing bills that accelerate growth, draw in investments, and create better jobs while raising funds that will be invested back for human and physical capital formation. Many of the measures that make tax regimes more efficient, easy to administer and to comply with, and equitable are in the advance stages in both Houses of Congress,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Ayon kay Pangulong Marcos, matagal na niyang ginagamit ang mga payo ni Go kahit bago pa ang eleksyon noon.
