Pagbisita sa bansa ni Indonesian Pres. Joko Widodo naging mabunga
Naging mabunga ang tatlong araw na official visit sa bansa ni Indonesian President Joko Widodo.
Pangako ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. kay Widodo, patuloy na palalakasin ng Pilipinas ang bilateral relations sa Indonesia.
“As you conclude your term as the President of the Republic of Indonesia in the coming months, I am optimistic that your successor will continue the momentum of the positive trajectory in both our bilateral and regional partnership,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
“I assure you, sir, that the Philippines will remain committed to working closely and actively with Indonesia as we nurture our bonds of kinship and elevate our relations to new height, ” dagdag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Nagpasalamat din si Pangulong Marcos kay Widodo sa mainit na pagtanggap nang bumisita sa Indonesia noong nakaraang taon.
“Today, allow me to reciprocate Your Excellency’s generosity as First Lady Louise and I offer you the best of Philippine culture and cuisine through today’s luncheon in this humble home we call Malacañan Palace,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Pinangangalagaan aniya ng dalawang bansa ang mature relationship na naitatag ng mahigit pitong dekada lalo na sa larangan ng pagtitiwala, mutual understanding, at extensive engagements.
Nagpasalamat naman si Widodo sa mainit na pagtanggap sa kanya ni Pangulong Marcos.
“This year we celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relation and remain committed to continue to work hand-in-hand to strengthen our cooperation for the next 75 years,” pahayag ni Widodo.
“Indonesia and the Philippines have also strengthened commitment to continue to maintain ASEAN unity and centrality for the sake of peace, stability, and prosperity of our region,” dagdag ni Widodo. (Chona Yu)
