P55.65 milyong pondo para sa education facility ng MSU inilabas na ng DBM

Inaprubahan na ni Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman ang pagpapalabas ng P55. 65 milyong Special Allotment Release Order (SARO) para sa konstruksyon ng 3-storey Student Center Building sa Mindanao State University (MSU) sa Marawi.

Magsisilbing venue ang gusali para sa promotion, development at implementasyon ng iba’t-ibang student-related programs at aktibidad ng unibersidad.

“Tulad po ng lagi kong sinasabi, our youth are the torchbearers of our future. That is why it’s important that we support them by providing the necessary equipment and facilities. ‘Yan din po ang marching order ng ating Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. dahil alam niya ang kahalagahan ng edukasyon. So, on our part po, we will continue to help gear up the youth,” pahayag ni Pangandaman.

May lawak na 1,850 square meters ang gusali.

“Improving education facilities is essential for creating a conducive learning environment for all learners, including those in remote and hard-to-reach areas,” bahagi ng budget message naman ni Pangulong Marcos.

Nabatid na ang implementasyon ng Locally-Funded Project (LFP) ay chargeable sa MSU-Marawi’s built-in appropriations sa ilalim ng Fiscal Year 2023 General Appropriations Act.

Kasabay nito, naglaan din ang DBM ng P154.192 milyon sa para sa Free Higher Education (FHE) program sa MSU-Marawi. (Chona Yu)
