Direk Paul Soriano tatanggap lang ng P1 sweldo kada taon bilang Presidential Adviser on Creative Communications

Piso kada taon lamang ang sweldo na tatanggapin ni direk Paul Soriano sa kaniyang paninilbihan bilang Presidential Adviser on Creative Communications.

Pahayag ito ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. matapos ang pormal na panunumpa sa puwesto ni Soriano sa Malakanyang.

“One of the greatest assets of the Filipino is our creativity, and we must find many ways to highlight that to the rest of the world. And that is what Paul Soriano has already been doing in his career as a filmmaker. And now we have asked him to help us at one peso per year,” Marcos said.

Nagpasalamat naman si Soriano sa pagkakataon na ibinigay sa kaniya para naninilbihan sa bayan. sa ilalim ng Marcos administration.

“It’s a passion of mine to just create and communicate. It’s an absolute honor that the President has trusted me with this position.” ani Soriano.

Tungkulin ni Soriano na magbigay ng payo sa pangulo at tumulong sa mga departamento at ahensya kabilang ang mga government-owned and controlled corporations sa mga usapin na maaring makapagpabuti sa information dissemination programs ng pamahalaan.

Si Soriano ay nagtapos ng advertising and marketing communications sa De Anza College in Cupertino, California, USA.

Siya ay nagwagi bilang Best Director sa 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival para sa pelikulang Siargao. (DDC)
