TESDA inilagay sa ilalim ng pangangasiwa ng DOLE
Inilipat ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang pamamahala sa Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) sa ilalim ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Ang TESDA ay dating nasa ilalim ng pamamahala ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Sa ilalim ng Executive Order (EO) No. 5 na nilagdaan ni Pangulong Marcos at Executive Secretary Victor Rodriguez, ang kalihim na ng DOLE ang magsisilbing chairperson ng TESDA board.
“It is the policy of the national government to rationalize the functional structures of agencies with complementary mandates and promote coordination, efficiency, and organizational coherence in the bureaucracy,” ayon sa EO. (DDC)
