100 percent onsite workforce iniutos ng DepEd sa lahat ng mga kawani ng ahensya

Bilang pagsunod sa Office of the President Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 96, na nag-aatas sa lahat ng ahensiya ng gobyerno na sumunod sa 100% onsite workforce, naglabas ang Department of Education (DepEd) ng updated work arrangements ng ahensiya kasunod ng pagpapatupad ng Alert Level 1 sa karamihan ng mga lugar sa bansa.

Ang DepEd issuance ay alinsunod din sa Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) Resolution No. 163-A, na pinamagatang Guidelines on the Nationwide Implementation of Alert Level System for COVID-19 Response, na nag-aatas sa mga opisina at ahensiya ng gobyerno na nasa Alert Level 1 na sumunod sa 100% onsite workforce, habang ang off-site work ay sasailalim sa mga alituntunin at regulasyon na inilabas ng Civil Service Commission (CSC) at ng Office of the President.

Batay sa DepEd Memorandum No. 029, series of 2022 o Work Arrangements in the Department of Education during the Imposition of Alert Level 1 System for COVID-19 Response, kinakailangan ang 100% onsite reporting capacity para sa lahat ng tanggapan ng DepEd.

Ayon kay DepEd Sec. Leonor Magtolis Briones, mas mapagbubuti pa ang pagpapairal ng multiple learning delivery modalities sa ilalim ng 100% onsite reporting.

Sakop ng kautusan ng DepEd ang lahat ng teaching at non-teaching personnel, kabilang ang contracts of service at job orders sa lahat ng opisina, paaralan, at community learning centers (CLCS), na parehong nagpapatupad ng face to face classes at distance learning modalities.

Maari pa rin namang isagawa ang remote at flexible work arrangements, depende sa umiiral na COVID-19 alert level sa lokalidad kung saan matatagpuan ang mga opisina, paaralan, at community learning centers.

Pinatitiyak ng DepEd sa mga tanggapan at paaralan ang maayos na internet connection upang maiwasan ang pagkaantala sa paghahatid ng mga serbisyo.

Sa kabilang banda, ang mga tauhan na nahawaan o close contact ng isang maaaring mayroon at kumpirmadong kaso ng COVID-19 ay hindi kinakailangang pumasok sa trabaho at maaaring mag-avail ng excused absence o mag-Work-From-Home (WFH) arrangement. (DDC)
