1,000 PDLs mula maximum security compound ng Bilibid tumanggap ng second dose ng COVID-19 vaccine

Tumanggap ng second dose ng COVID-19 vaccine ang nasa 1,000 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) mula sa New Bilibid Prison (NBP).

Binakunahan ang mga PDL ng second dose ng Astrazeneca COVID-19 vaccines.

Isinagawa ang ceremonial vaccination sa loob ng maximum security compound ng NBP sa pangunguna ng mga opisyal mula National Task Force against COVID-19, Department of Health, at Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

Ayon kay Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Spokesperson Gabriel Chaclag, mayroon pang 9,000 sa 18,000 PDLs sa maximum security compound ang naghihintay maturukan ng kanilang second dose.

Habang ang mga PDL sa minimum security compound, medium security compound at correctional institution for women ay pawang fully-vaccinated na. (DDC)
