Pambato ng Cebu City itinanghal bilang Miss Universe Philippines

Itinanghal ang kandidata ng Cebu City na si Beatrice Luigi Gomez bilang bagong Miss Universe Philippines.

Sa coronation night na ginanap sa Bohol, ipinasa ni Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo ang korona kay Beatrice.

Itinanghal naman si Miss Taguig Katrina Dimaranan bilang Miss Universe Philippines Tourism habang si Miss Cavite Victoria Velasquez Vincent ang Miss Universe Philippines Charity.

1st runner-up si Miss Pangasinan Maureen Christa Wroblewitz habang 2nd runner-up si Miss Cebu Province Steffi Rose Aberasturi.

Sa final Q&A portion, tinanong si Beatrice ng: “if during your reign as Miss Universe Philippines, things happen in your life that make you sad and uninspired, how will you be able to continue inspiring others?”

At ito naman ang kanyang winning answer: “It is very evident that all of us went through difficulties during this pandemic but it is also proof that we are able to rise to the occasion and if anything happened to me during my reign, i will not give up and inspire others by rising to the problems that i am encountering and by inspiring them that whatever you are going through you are able to overcome it.”

Si Beatrice ay matapang na lumantad at inaming miyembro siya ng LGBTQIA+ Community.

Una nang inihayag ni Beatrice na naniniwala siyang handa na ang Pilipinas na magpadala ng kandidata na LGBTQIA+ member sa Universe. (DDC)
