US nag-donate ng anti-terrorism equipment sa PNP

Nagbigay ng United States Embassy ng iba’t ibang mga gamit sa Philippine National Police.

Isinagawa ang turnover ceremony sa PNP Grandstand, Camp BGen Rafael T. Crame sa Quezon City na dinaluhan din ng mga kinatawan mula sa embahada ng Amerika.

Kabilang sa mga gamit na ibinigay ng US ay ang 18 sets ng Cellebrite ay 57 units ng laptop computers para sa PNP Anti-Cyber Crime Group (ACG); 4 units ng Ford Ranger, 6 units ng Bomb Suit, 5 units ng Logo Scanner at Veterinary Equipment/Aircon/ Clinic Renovation para sa Explosive Ordnance Disposal K9 Group EOD/K9.

Samantala, tumanggap din ng 1 unit ng Ford Ranger, 6 units ng Harris Radio, Tactical Medicine Kits, Crisis Response Team Equipment, Advance Crisis Response Team Equipment and First Response to Medical Stabilization Kits para sa Special Action Force.

Ipinaabot naman ni PNP Logistics Director Police Major General Angelito A. Casimiro ang pasasalamat sa pamahalaan ng US dahil sa donasyong mga gamit.

“On behalf of the Chief of the Philippine National Police, PGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T. ELEAZAR, I would like to express our sincerest appreciation to the United States for yet another gesture of generosity and for unwavering support to the PNP. These police equipment will surely beef-up the counter-terrorism capabilities of the PNP”, ayon kay PNP Logistics Director Police Major General Angelito A Casimiro.
