Sisimulan na ang konstruksyon ng ika-anim na housing project para sa mga informal settlers sa lungsod ng Maynila.

Isinagawa ang groundbreaking ceremony sa 20-storey San Sebastian Residences sa Quiapo.

Ayon kay Manila City Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso, target nilang tuluyan nang mawalan ng informal settlers sa lungsod.

Ang San Sebastian Residences ay kayang makapag-accommodate ng 243 na pamilya.

Ang bawat unit nito ay mayroong sukat na 40 square meters.

Maliban sa 243 residential units, mayroon din itong 58 parking slots, health center, police sub station, four elevator para sa residential units, swimming pool, function room, fitness center, roof garden sa 20th floor roof deck, three units rentable space, activity areas sa 6th, 10th, at 14th floors, roof deck play area sa 18th floor, at roof garden.

Maliban sa mga informal settlers ay makikinabang din dito ang mga renters at mga empleyado ng gobyerno na walang sariling tahanan. (DDC)
