Street level suspect arestado sa Taguig City buy-bust operation,higit P190K na halaga ng ilegal na droga nakumpiska
Dahil sa patuloy na agresibong kampanya kontra ilegal na droga ng Southern Police District (SPD),matagumpay ang isinagawang buy-bust operation ng mga operatiba ng Station Drug Enforcement Unit ng Taguig City Police Station (CPS)sa ilalim ng liderato ni Officer-in-Charge Col. Byron Allatog, na nagresulta ng pagkaaresto ng isang Street Level Individual (SLI) at nakumpiska ang pinaniniwalang shabu na nagkakahalaga ng P190,400.00 sa Contreras Street, Barangay Central Bicutan sa nasabing lungsod.
Ang suspek na kinilalang si alyas Yasser, 48-anyos ay inaresto sa paglabag sa Section 5 (Sale) and Section 11 (Possession) ng Republic Act 9165 o mas kilala sa tawag na Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Bukod sa droga narekober din ng otoridad mula sa suspek ang buy-bust money at coin purse.
Nasa kustodiya ngayon sa Taguig CPS ang suspek habang ang nakumpiskang ebidensiya ay dinala naman sa SPD Forensic Unit para suriin.
“This operation is a testament to the persistent efforts of the Taguig City Police Station to rid our streets of illegal drugs. The SPD remains firm in its resolve to dismantle drug networks operating within our district. We will ensure that this suspect, who was dealing significant quantities of illegal drugs, is properly charged and held accountable under the law,” pahayag ni BGen Randy Y.
