HVI timbog sa halos isang milyong halaga ng shabu sa Taguig City

Nasakote ng mga operatiba ng Station Drug Enforcement Unit ng Taguig City Police Station ang isang high-value individual (HVI) at nasamsam ang halos isang milyong halaga ng pinaghinihinalaang shabu sa ikinasang buy-bust operation sa Legaspi Street, Purok 2, Barangay Upper Bicutan.

Sa ilalim ng direktang superbisyon ni Col. Joey T. Goforth, Chief of Police ng Taguig CPS, at sa patnubay ni BGen Joseph R. Arguelles, Acting District Director ng Southern Police District, matagumppay na nadakip ng operating team ang suspek na si alyas “Bikoy,” 38-anyos.

Nakumpiska ng otoridad ang tinatayang 150 na gramo ng umano’y shabu na nagkakahalaga ng P988,380.00, buy-bust money, at coin purse na pinaglagyan ng droga.

Mahaharap ang suspek ng kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165, o mas kilala sa tawag na Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Pinuri ni BGen Arguelles ang operating team sa kanilang mabilis at nakatuong pagtugon.

“This arrest is a testament to the dedication and vigilance of our personnel on the ground. By removing high-value individuals like ‘Bikoy’ from our communities, we strike directly at the core of illegal drug networks. The Southern Police District remains steadfast in its campaign against illegal drugs, and we urge the public to continue working with us in building a safer, drug-free environment,” sabi ng SPD Chief.
