Sampung pelikula pasok sa 49th MMFF sa Disyembre

Inanunsyo ng Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) ang bagong 10 pelikula na opisyal na kalahok sa ika-49 nitong edisyon sa Disyembre.

Ang mga pelikula mula sa record-high na 30 submissions ay pinili ng mga miyembro ng MMFF selection committee sa pamumuno ng respetadong producer at film industry stalwart na si Jessie Ejercito.

Ginamit sa pagpili ng official entries ang mga kriteryang artistic excellence (40%), commercial appeal (40%), Filipino cultural value (10%), at global appeal (10%).

Kabilang sa opisyal na MMFF 2023 entries ay ang mga sumusunod:

1. BECKY AND BADETTE

Last July 10, the first 4 official entries based on script submissions were:

10. REWIND by ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc., APT Entertainment, Inc. and Agostodos Pictures, Inc.

“Ang 10 na napiling pelikula ay talagang napakagaganda. Ito rin ay base sa aming napanood na trailers at actors at actresses na bumuo ng mga pelikula na ito,” sabi ni MMDA Acting Chairman at MMFF Concurrent Chairman Atty. Don Artes.

Gaganapin sa December 17 ang Parade of Stars sa mga sponsor cities sa Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, at Valenzuela.

Ang 49th MMFF magsisimula sa December 25 hanggang January 7 sa mga sinehan sa bansa.
