Paglikha sa Office Presidential Chief of Staff inaprubahan ni Pangulong Marcos

Kinumpirma ng Office of the Press Secretary na inaprubahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang paglikha sa posisyon bilang Presidential Chief of Staff (PCS).

Sa bisa ng Administrative Order No. 1 nilikha ang nasabing posisyon na magiging bagong puwesto ng nagbitiw na si dating Executive Secretary Vic Rodriguez.

Ayon kay Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles, ang bagong likhang Office Presidential Chief of Staff (OPCOS) ay nasa ilalim ng superbisyon ng Office of the President.

“The OPCOS shall have the primary function of supervising and ensuring the efficient and responsive day-to-day operational support to the Presidency to enable the President to focus on strategic national concerns,” ayon sa AO No. 1.

Ang PCS ay mayroong ranggong Cabinet secretary.

Ang PCS ay magkakaroon ng senior deputy chief of staff at dalawang two deputy chiefs of staff, assistant secretaries at directorial at iba pang administrative staff. (DDC)
