Smuggled na mga jetski at motorsiklo nakumpiska ng Customs

Nakumpiska ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) ang isang 40-footer container na naglalaman ng mga jetski at motorsiklo.

Tinatayang aabot sa P3.9 million ang halaga ng mga jetskis at motorsiklo na dumating sa South Harbor noong October 3, 2021 galing Japan.

Naka-consign ito sa Fastside Consumer Goods Trading at idineklarang mga electric motors, e-bikes, sofa, at cabinet.

Isinailalim sa physical examination ang container at doon natuklasan ang 45 units ng mga gamit na motorsiklo, mga gamit at brand-new rims, dalawang unit ng jetskis, at iba pang assorted household effects.

Agad nagpalabas ng Warrants of Seizure and Detention sa nasabing mga kargamento dahil sa paglabag sa Section 1400 “Misdeclaration, Misclassification, and Undervaluation in Goods Declaration” kaugnay sa Section 1113 “Property Subject Seizure and Forfeiture” ng Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.
